Domain registration, Renewal, Maintenance

We charge a flat rate of £50 +VAT to register or renew a uk domain for 2 years. During this period, we will maintain the domain as per your instructions, including updating your details, pointing the domain to your name servers, and if required, transferring the domain to another registrar, should you wish to appoint another registrar. You pay a single up front fee for registering or renewing the domain, which covers other services for that domain.

Time for domain Registration to complete

We aim to register your uk domain providing it is available in the nominet system, within 5 working days of receiving your payment.

Changes to our charging

From time to time we may vary our charges, and these will be posted on this page. Existing customers will receive a minimum of 90 days notice of changes to our costs.

Other services.

AES develop web sites and applications. These are costed separately to domain charges. If you use AES to provide your domain registration, you do not need to use AES to provide or host your web site.

Data Accuracy

AES supply nominet with your details, as part of the registration process. We agree as part of our service to you to keep your data accurate. To do this you must supply us with the necessary information. Our information to nominet about your domain details is only as accurate as your information to us.

If you are dissatisfied with the domain service you get from AES please email info@aes.co.uk or phone 01642 366 660 with your concerns. Please ask to speak to the Technical Director, and we will aim to resolve your problem within 5 working days.

If we fail to rectify the problem to your satisfaction you may transfer your domain to another registrar.

Please note however that the range of services which we can provide is restricted to our agreement with Nominet.

Your uk domain contract

Although you may decide to use AES as your uk domain registrar you must understand and agree that in doing this you will be entering into a contract with nominet.

If you are not prepared to be bound by Nominet’s terms and conditions, then you should not use AES to provide registrar services. If you place an order with AES to register or renew a UK domain, then you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
