SETTING THE BATCH SIZE

In FMS the Entry Batch Size controls quantities displayed in the formula for manufacture. In our new version we can add the Customer’s inner and outer packaging requirements to calculate the EBS.

This also changes the quantities in the Bill of Materials and updates the cost for all raw materials in the formula. If FMS is set to transfer data to your ERP then the revised quantities can be fed through to your manufacturing process.

TABBED DATA ENTRY

To make data entry faster in CAMS and FMS we have introduced tabbed sections in both theese products. This movie shows how tabs work in one module in CAMS:

1. All the mandatory fields are moved to the 1st tab.
2. Clicking a tab opens a new section for editing

SETTING UP EMAIL ALERTS FOR PSR

This movie shows how easy it is to add e-mail alerts in the project sampling section of the new CAMS 2010 system., so that we don’t even need to log in to CAMS to be updated on how our project is progressing.

The system lets The Account manager or a Technical contact create a list of contacts who will be emailed when project changes occur. We can also elect to be emailed a reminder after a sample has been dispatched to make contact with the customer to encourage them to progress.

OPENING FMS AND CAMS

All the new versions of CAMS, FMS and Vendor Management have built in screen resizing and users working in one system can click to switch into either if the other systems without spending the time to manually log in.

Once in a second system users can click to switch between open windows and cn copy and paste data between systems.
