Job requirements

1 - Work to the guidance of the IT manager for the business and to ultimate direction of the business directors on any tasks which may be allocated.

2 - Analyse, maintain and document current web application in their current style.

3 - Work to create new modules and sub systems which can be integrated into our current web applications.

4 - Provide helpdesk support to customers as required.

Expected skills

1 - You will be a team player, able to work to the instruction of the team leader but willing to use initiative to give the best solutions to customers.  You will be sociable, committed to the business and presentable.

2 - You will be expert with PHP 4+ and will already be looking at PHP 5.

3 - You will be expert with MySQL 4+ and be able to down grade to v3+ where the server requires it.

 

4 - You will understand and regularly use Normalisation and other SQL requirements including functions, joins  etc.

5 - You will have a grasp of other appropriate technologies e.g. Ajax, Javascript, XML as well as basic HTML and CSS.

6 - You will understand and regularly use the application of libraries to PHP so that complex features can be added (e.g. PDF’s Graphics etc;)
