Managing Director of AES, Lesley Moody was called today to Buckingham Palace to receive her MBE, awarded for services to business and international trade.
Lesley attended her investiture at Buckingham Palace accompanied by her family to collect the MBE she was awarded in this year’s Queens Birthday Honours list. The award was presented by HRH Prince Charles and we can report that Lesley performed the obligatory curtseys without hitch, and one royal courtier was overheard mentioning that Lesley had won his award for the most appropriate hat of the day.
Lesley’s award was for services to business, international trade and to education.
We are grateful to our customers and to organisations including UKTI, and the schools which Lesley has been involved with for their support. We appreciate that quite a few people have been involved in promoting Lesley for this honour, and we are particularly grateful to NECC who earlier, provided Lesley with smaller versions of the award for day to day use.
